Santorum's campaign, from day one, is beneath the dignity of a U.S. Senator.

Santorum's message, such as it is, won't get to voters who use the Apple Safari browser (which is most Macintosh users). His web site won't play the "Karen" video—or even load it—in Safari. Same for all his other videos. You just get a screen full of blocks of color.

Mac users are not an awful lot of voters, to be sure, because the Mac is a minority computer. But we tend to notice slipups like this. It's the only time I've run into a video that wouldn't even load in Safari. Other political sites that I've looked at make sure their pages work with everything.

Given that he's well behind in the polls, you'd think Santorum might want to make sure he reaches every voter he possibly can.

Oh, by the way, it's obvious that the residency issue is still bedeviling Santorum. And the video, once I loaded it in another browser, is really, really uncomfortable to watch and just a tad embarrassing.

so was that video made in VA or PA? and Rick did have a choice to make, but he decided to become a washington insider rather than stay true to his roots in Western PA. that was his choice, not ours.

That's okay though b/c Rick can do whatever he wants when Casey is sworn into office.

Man, where does all the unspent money that politicians raise go?

Several years ago, UPI wrote a story nailing Brabender for giving what appeared to be "kickbacks" thru Karen from Rick's media spending in 1998 and 2000 races. I wonder if she's still benefiting from that little arrangement, which might help explain why he now refuses to release his income tax returns! Tom, why is the press not hammering him for reneging on his promise to make his returns public????

Did he give a reason for not making his tax returns public?

his reason for refusing to release them was lame... He said without qualification on a statewide TV debate he would release them... no strings attached. He needs to be held to his word.

What was this lame reason he gave?
